Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. The AI model runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your images never leave your device. This is fundamentally different from cloud-based tools that send your images to remote servers for processing.
Why does the first use take longer?
On the first visit, the tool downloads the AI model weights (~30 MB). Your browser caches these files, so subsequent visits load much faster. The actual image processing typically takes 2-10 seconds depending on image size and device performance.

The tool works well with portraits, product photos, animals, objects, and any image where there is a clear subject. It handles complex edges like hair and fur well. Very busy images with no clear subject-background distinction may produce less accurate results.
Can I process multiple images?

What resolution is the output?
The output preserves the original image resolution. A 4000x3000 photo will produce a 4000x3000 transparent PNG.
